Resistance Bands


Did you know…
  • Resistance bands can be used by a wide range of fitness levels.

  • The recommendation of performing strength training activities is twice a week.

  • Resistance bands are great for total body exercise!

  4. I have reminders set on my calendar to get up and move. Try to walk to farthest restroom when possible.

  5. I bring my resistance bands to work and use my lunch hour to use those. As a team, we get together each Thursday for Yoga.

    At the top of every hour I attempt to walk a full lap around the concourse in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

  10. I requested a standing computer. and I try and always stand during clinic. I always take the stairs to and from lunch.

  11. I like to switch from sitting to standing several times throughout the day. I also Will take a longer lap around the office to take bathroom breaks and always get a few extra steps by walking to the last stall.

  12. I try to take a walk outside and get some fresh air at the same time during lunch time.

  13. I use my standing desk to get up and move off my chair. I can sometimes squeeze in a few stretches and walk down the hall to get water. I try to do spin a few times a month over lunch or after work to get in some exercise.

  14. I try to take short walks every hour and a longer walk around lunch time. I need to work on different ways to move more while at work, maybe a resistance band would be great to try! Ashley M. Mission Slimpossible
